BLUE SCREEN
MY SYSTEM ALWAYS SHOW ME BLUE SCREEN, AM REINSTALL BUT WILL STILL, BLUE SCREEN.

ibrahim, if you expirence blue screen on your system all the time and even after reinstalling the operating system, i will simply advice you to back up ur hard disk( i.e all the important files, transfare them to a storage device e.g flah or external hard disk or even another system.) after that replace the hard disk. the reasons why you see a blue screen is this: 1, either your hard disk has a bad sector or sectors
2, your hard disk might have been very old. 3 your hard disk platters are week, during the process of working it probably skips.
4 your system dropped on the floor or so so that may cause a problem in the mechanism. well take heart. more question feel free.

i don't know wat happened to my laptop, it is not coming and wen i tuk it for repair nothing was detected to have happen to it, but wen i tuk it to HP i was adviced to get a new motherboard. Do u think it is adviceable to change d board or just get a new laptop.

Secondly, wat do u think about a pentium 5 laptop with 160 gig memory and it is a core duo from HP. Advice me on dat. My course of study is Electronics and Computer Engineering.

Blue Screen is just a problem you can just deal with ordinarily, you have to be careful. The real name is BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH (BOD), it only occur when there is hardware conflict on the system motherboard. the hardware that can cause this are the RAM, IDE cables, FDC cable, VGA card, LAN card etc. most especially when the Sound or Vga cards are malfuncturing. the solution is to troubleshoot the system Hardwares ( replace the hardware for working ones) but don't change the harddisk until the computer complain of " NO SYSTEM DISK FOUND". Jeffnaija will be expecting your outcome.
