ABORIGINAL activist Robert Bropho has had his sentence for child sex offences doubled to six years after failing in a bid to have his conviction dismissed.

Guns, Indian hemp recovered from Lagos shop

Men of the Lagos State Police Command, on Sunday, discovered two guns at a shop at Akanimodo Market, Mile 12, Lagos.



Besides, some weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, were also recovered from the shop which was marked C4.

Boy tied up, starved for 3 days ...For stealing N10 • Father, step mum arrested

Police create anti-kidnapping squad

THE Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mike Okiro, yesterday disclosed that the force has trained a special squad that will tackle the menace of kidnapping in the country.
