Truly, Nigeria is not a Country for the faint heart-ed, you gat to be tough as steel to survive in Nigeria, the tougher you are the better your chances of survival. From Boko Haram to mismanagement of funds and administration of both political and private organization offices, the list goes on and it has never been pretty. As you can see from the picture above, those Naija kids see burning fire as entertaining.
The ranking is based on countries most affected by war, terrorism, political instability, regular violence etc. Here's the top 10 Most Dangerous Countries in Africa 2012
10. Ethiopia.
9.Burundi.
8. Zimbabwe.
7. Chad.
6. Nigeria.
5. Libya.
4.Central African Republic.
3. Democratic Republic of Congo.
2. Sudan.
1. Somalia

We have issues in Nigeria as well as in other countries of the world. Ranking Nigeria as the 6th most dangerous to live in is not acceptable to me. But i don't want to go into that discussion. I only want to use this medium to tell my people that i understand your plight, worries, and frustration and you are right to feel so. But rubbishing the image of Nigeria on various social networks by ourselves will get us to no where. Why don't each and every Nigerian ask ourselves the question 'WHAT HAVE I DONE IN MY LITTLE WAY TO CHANGE THE SITUATION IN NIGERIA?". I am more interested in networks that will discuss the way forward for 9ja. I have come to realize that crime, injustice, and other social anomalies exist all over the world. I believe that things will begin to change as soon as we are able to define what we want as a people, then good governance will come in and subsequently we'll have fair share of everything. Long live Nigeria.

Comment by Smiles Ajah on July 3, 2012 at 1:57pm we should thank God ma, since we are lucky to be ranked 6th. but come to think of it from the past 3 months has it been easy? movement to other parts of the country is not safe. people are killed every day, this killings are intentional and ill motivated because selfish interest

Comment by Danladi on June 29, 2012 at 1:27pm I agree that there are serious security challenges in the country not because of any statistics. If u chose to travel by bus, if you don't fall a victim to a burning tanker, it will be bad road and if you escape that u will have to face fellow Nigerians (Armed robbers). If you go through Ship if you don't meet stoways, it will be pirates, Hijackers, kidnappers or even shipwreck e.t.c. Use Okada you will lose count of how many times you will escape death. If you treck it is not safer either. If you enter an Aircraft depending on which airline you will either land in Lisa or Iju. If u stay at home, if building don’t fall plane will crash into the building, flood, assassins, armed robbers e.t.c. You dear not talk about North because the place has assumed a state of nature. Our Judiciary freed a man who was sentenced on same matter in another country. The Legislators have decided to drop the suffix of honour for the prefix of rabbles. Confusion everywhere even the once that death refused to kill are still killing themselves.
