INEC has Query to answer on behalf of OLAWALE OJO JAMES IGE, An origin of Oke - Agbe in Akoko North East, who is Contesting for the post of Governorship in Ondo State, Under the party called ACCORD, According to Accord Party Candidate Mr Olawale Ojo, We learnt he was once a friend to Mr Olusegun Mimiko known as Ondo State Active Governor of Labour Party, And we all knows that Labour Party Won the last Election in Ondo State with full support of Political Parties, And anybody can follow any party not compulsorily stand on an edge, And Mr Olusegun Mimiko Had promised to appoint This Mr Olawale Ojo as Next Governor after his four years regime, And after Mimiko had Betrayed him by not Fulfilling his promised to Mr Olawale Ojo, Then Mr Olawale Decided to come up as a Candidate from Another Party known As ACCORD PARTY.
Accord Party in Ondo State resolved in their meeting held on the 30th June, 2012 that Olawale Ojo James Ige was adopted as the party gubernatorial candidate for Oct.-20-2012 election.
As a follow up to the above, the candidate obtained a Nomination form from INEC Headquarters at Abuja. The form was duly filled and ready for submission.
On the first of August 2012, the state Chairman of Accord Party wrote a letter to inform INEC that Accord will hold it's primary on the 3rd of August 2012 at green park hotel Idanre road Akure. On the day of this primary three (3) INEC officials (S.A Junaid(O.P.S),Beckley C.O.(pro),Fasusi O(P.P.I) and security agents (Policemen). Press men were also present at the primary.
A letter was written by the National Chairman of Accord party to INEC for submission of the Nomination form. The letter dated 10 August 2012 the P.P.M.U office refused to receive the form officially which lead to the re-writing of another letter titled re-submission of Nomination form. The Letter was written and signed by the National Chairman of the party on the 24th of August 2012 one of the INEC officials at Abuja claimed that the form will not be received for the reason best known to her the INEC is the Director of P.P.M.U.(Mrs.Regena Omo Agege) after the INEC National Chairman (Mr.Atairu Gega) has instituted them to collect the form.
Then will lately Confirmed that a friend of Gov. Mimiko (MR PIUS OMOLOLA) from Ondo town, and the Active Governor Planned a conspiracy with the Director of P.P.M.U.(Mrs.Regena Omo Agege) to decline Mr Olawale Ojo's Form.
It was gathered that the director of P.P.M.U. said she could not see INEC report on Accord Party Primary.
The documents was sent from State INEC office Akure through Trade was express service on the 6th of August 2012 to the attention of the Director of P.P.M.U. at Abuja INEC headquarters. The document was delivered to INEC Abuja on the 15th August 2012. The certificate of delivery from trade was express service shows that one Mr. Ahmed received the parcel and signed on behalf of the director at about 11:47pm on 15th of August.
It is to our surprise that this director of P.P.M.U still refuse to collect Accord Party Nomination form. Even though Accord met with stipulated time by INEC we wish to inform you that as part of our efforts to get our form submitted to the INEC Accord Party and Olawale Ojo file a suite at the Federal High Court holding in Akure (suite No FHC/AK/CS/29/12). But our Lawyer seems to be working in the interest of the opposition. These is the major reason why we came to request Audience assistant as human right activist to help prevail on this matter so that we can have our form submitted and our candidate will be able to contest in the October 2012 election at the same time ask for extension of time.
And Now Mr Olawale Ojo Needs all good Nigerian support That Gov. Mimiko Should re-fund his 130millions Naira that Gov. Mimiko Borrowed from him in other to Support himself during the last Election, And Mr Olawale Tendered valid Agreement Document available on 95millions Naira Estimated by Gov. Mimiko Himself, And we appeal to Federal Government and good leaders to interfene on this case, in other to avoid Crisis before Election, and the Election should be postpone to November, after Federal Government has settled with the INEC, by receiving The Accord Party Candidate's form...Peace Shall Follow Only The Peace Maker.
