Super Eagles camp came alive on Wednesday with the arrival of Osaze Odemwingie and goalkeeper Austin Ejide joined their colleagues for the friendly against Ireland Friday.
The friendly is part of the team's preparations for the 2010 World Cup qualifier against Kenya Harambee Stars in Abuja June 7 and the qualifier against Tunisia on June 20 in Tunis.
In camp as at Wednesday, according to a statement by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), are: Nwankwo Kanu, Olubayo Adefemi, Sone Aluko, Ayodele Adeleye, Sam Sodje, Yusuf Mohammed, Kalu Uche, Seyi Olofinjana, Obinna Nsofor, John Utaka, Joseph Akpala, Michael Eneramo, Shittu, Etuhu and Austin Ejide.
However, goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is still being awaited despite assuring the technical crew of his availability for the match late on Wednesday. There were fears Nigeria could prosecute the game with only one goalkeeper if Enyeama failed to arrive.
The other goalie, Dele Aiyenugba, has taken excuse as his Israeli Club is involved in a crucial game.
Officials were still expecting Switzerland -based defender, Obinna Nwaneri, and midfielder, Yusuf Ayila, from Ukraine, on Wednesday night.
Obafemi Martins and Danny Shittu have been ruled out of the friendly due to injury.
While Martins is going for hernia operation that rules him out of the two World Cup qualifiers against Kenya and Tunisia, Shittu is nursing an undisclosed injury.
Dickson Etuhu is also injured although there is possibility that he could still play.
Chinedu Obasi has opted out due to injury, Sani Kaita is involved in a crucial game for his Russian Club, Joseph Yobo and Mikel Obi are playing for Everton and Chelsea respectively in Saturday's English FA Cup final; Taye Taiwo, Onyekachi Apam, Olufemi Ajilore, Dele Aiyenugba and Elderson Echiejile are also playing crucial games for their different Clubs.
Chidi Odiah is playing for his club in the Russia FA Cup final, while Ikechukwu Uche wants to save his Spanish Club from relegation and the UK High Commission denied Chibuzor Okonkwo visa.
