This is too tragic, so who is to blame here, the woman in question who believe she was too pretty to jump into a puddle water or, the eye witnesses who are simply lying about the whole thing. So sad, the woman was crushed to death beyond recognition...
Lagos – A middle-aged woman was on Wednesday hit and killed by a passenger train at Oshodi in Lagos when she was trying to avoid a puddle of water beside the rail tracks. An eyewitness said that the unidentified woman was walking along the tracks when the incident happened at about 7:15 a.m. “The woman was trying to avoid muddy water along the tracks when the Ijoko-Apapa passenger’s train crushed her to death. “The woman instead of jumping into the muddy water was trying to avoid it and the fast moving train dragged her under. “It was like a magic. Could the agony of the economic mess in the country have carried her far off from that scene that she could not take notice of happenings arround her? Similar situation occured at the Admiralty Toll Gate at Lekki sometime last year when a man rammed into the bar when the light had not cleared him to pass, surely many things are troubling many soul in this country, which could directly or indirectly determine one's eventuality.

Comment by Monday Forton on September 28, 2012 at 12:53pm It's quite unfortunate to be reading about incidents of this nature. Yoruba adage says, 'eni ti ko fe fi ese kan erofo yoo fi gbogbo ara ko o,' meaning anyone who is elegantly avoiding mire will eventually roll in it, you can notice this ugly practice with ladies mostly, what's the total cost of the make-up and the clothings they wear that they will be tip-toeing where they ought to take to their heel in the name of waiting to be pampered, may our ladies take note as well as drivers.
