The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, “Barrister” Engr. Ochei, once tagged the next "James Ibori" because of his "thieving lifestyle"  just graduated with an LL.B Honours Degree from the Delta State University, Oleh campus. The question is, how did Mr. Speaker attain this present status?
His classmates complain that “Barrister” Ochei never attended lectures and only went to Oleh campus or entered lecture rooms when it was time to write his examinations, and yet he was awarded high marks after each test/examination. Practically all his mid-semester tests were written for him by Mr. Mudiaga, another student/final year classmate, whom “Barrister” Ochei made his Personal Assistant on Oleh matters, and practically drew salary for him from the Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission/government.
Prof. Emiri, the former Dean of the Law Faculty, now Dean of the Law Faculty of the Nigerian Law School Campus in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, where Ochei may be admitted for his compulsory one year law school, is the major culprit on Ochei. He looked the other way when “Barrister” Ochei did not attend lectures and actually carried answer sheets to write departmental tests (mid-semester tests) for him in Asaba, where Ochei put him in hotel rooms to circumvent the process.
Mrs. Okonedo is the General Examination Supervisor, and actually encouraged Mr. Mudiaga to write Ochei’s tests for him, while looking the other way. The tests are part of the continuous assessment.
His classmates complain too that Ochei who did not attend lectures was given high grades after examinations and is in fact now graduating with a second class upper division grade.
Barrister Tom, the present Dean, continued from where Prof. Emiri stopped, as soon as he became aware of how highly profitable it was to help “Barrister” Ochei,to cheat.
His classmates insist that if “Barrister” Ochei’s mid-semester tests are investigated, it will be discovered that different hand writings belonging to both Mudiaga and the erstwhile Dean, Emiri, wrote the tests for “Barrister” Ochei, as against the actual writing of “Barrister” Ochei in the main examination. When he wrote his last paper, his classmates said “Barrister” Ochei came to school with pressmen and a large entourage to celebrate the fact that he has “graduated”.
“Barrister” Ochei, who also wants to be the governor of Delta come 2015 has been blocking this story from getting to the press in Nigeria as some of the media houses are alleged to be on his pay roll.
This serves as a petition to the ICPC, NJC, Law school Authorities, etc through the social media (which is now the last hope for the average Nigerian)!
